Hi, my name is Muhammad Rizqi Putra Akbar, and I am a student at the Institute of Technology

Sepuluh (ITS) Nopember, Surabaya. I am studying to get my degree in Marine Engineering Faculty
in Naval Architecture at Institute of Technology Sepuluh Nopember now. I was born and raised
in Jakarta on 22 April 1998. Jakarta is one of the special region in Indonesia because it is the
capital town of Indonesia. So it is a crowd and busy town. Jakarta has population about 10 million
people. It is popular with government activity and business center. So, the there are many high-
rise buildings and business activities there. And also Jakarta popular with traffic jam because a
lot of activities are happen there. Jakarta is rich with some historic sites, such as Kota Tua,
Monumen Nasional , Museum Fatahillah, etc.

My parents were employee. My father worked at Agung Podomoro Land, while my mother
worked at Danamon Bank . I just have one young brother. He is a student of Elementary School
in Lubang Buaya, Jakarta.

I am a friendly and enthusiastic person, honest and flexible to work in any time. I can work for
long time without any taking rest, only if I’m interested in what I am doing. My life philosophy is
very simple. If they kind to me, I will be kind to them. I’m interested in so many things such as
listening to music, reading book especially comic, and watching movies. At first, it takes so
difficult to study in Engineering especially in Naval Architecture and requires a tremendous
amount of patience and hard work to study in there but in the long run I can adapt with it. I hope
that I’ll be able to face these challenges, and hopefully my dream will come true.

I’m personally interested in becoming an engineer of ship company in Indonesia. I believe that
looking for a job should be like looking for hobby. As for now I’m only focusing my attention on
my study. I’m being confidence myself, dreams and goals that I want to achieve.
