Beyond the Known IV

Each of you decides, when you attend to these teachings, that you can be in coherence

with something that exists beyond what you have encountered thus far. That has been the

promise of these teachings since we began. And, as we escort you to a new identity, a new way

of perceiving the self outside of the guarantees of the old, you find yourself in spaces or in

encounters with the world that lacks the awareness that you have become accustomed to.

Some of you believe that to go on this journey should be a comforting thing. “I will keep

in my pocket what I need. I have my compass in my pocket. I know the way home, back to the

old. I can return any time.” In fact, when you leave the known and the awareness that the old

identity has claimed, you encounter a self without a barometer or a compass that is based in

history. You know the way to the store, to the office, to your parents’ house, because you have

been there. When you cross the threshold beyond the known, there is no map born in history.

But, in the higher octave that you are now aligning in, there is indeed direction. A map and

direction are two different things. “I want to go to the store” charts your direction. You know

how to follow the map. But direction comes as the True Self emerges and directs the encounters

that the individual has as she is aware of what she becomes, what he has always been and

perhaps denied because the small self, in its rule, has created a way to circumvent identity.

The Divine Self in identity, the claim of truth—“I know who I am in truth, I know what I

am in truth, how I serve in truth”—in some ways is a directive to your entire life to move into a

higher octave. First, your identity, a claim of a way of being through the I Am Self: “I know who

I am.” And, as know means realize, the realization of the Divine as identity will in fact
circumvent or release you from the obligations or historical data that has served as the road map

for who the small self thinks she should be. “I know what I am,” the Divine in manifestation,

which claims the body in the higher octave in a new resonance that it may sing in. The song of

form, we would have to say, is the song of being in form. The abstract I that you may understand

as identity in consummation with physical reality, the Divine made flesh, known in form, claims

a new vibratory agreement with the manifest world.

The octave you sing in, as ascribed now by form, reclaims a relationship with all things

made manifest. Because the chord has been struck in identity and then made manifest in form,

the agreement is made that the Word, or the active aspect of the Creator as the who and the what,

may be in encounter with the manifest world to transform and make a new agreement. And

agreement means coherence of what is true and only possible in the higher octave you are now

beginning to express in. The void that you encounter as part of this passage is the agreement that

what has not been made manifest yet may be made so while you still exist amidst the creations,

the relationships, the identities that you’ve done your best to be in agreement to because it’s all

you have had. As the new commences, there is a new agreement, both in form and field, and the

claim “I know how I serve,” which is the key to the Kingdom unmasking itself before you, may

be comprehended. Again, comprehended means agreed to in form and field, and now in

expression. “I know how I serve.” The Divine Self in manifestation as who and as what is in

expression and encountering all things in an awareness of the inherent divine that exists in all

manifestation.

We have described the Kingdom prior as the awareness of the Divine in all manifestation,

but awareness, you see, can still be perceived by you as something seen or understood, not as

something realized. And the comprehension of the Kingdom, or the agreement to it, which
means by your presence, by your encounter in the resonance of the claim, “I know how I serve,”

form becomes manifest or agreed to in the high octave you now comprehend yourself in. This is

not magic. It is dominion, and not in the way you think. You have been falsely led to believe that

manifestation is about getting what you want, and not about expressing consciousness. There is

nothing wrong with getting what you want, but we would have to tell you, in almost all cases,

what you say you want is what you have been told to want and what the small self believes she

should have. In a reckoning or a facing of the self, which must come as you make this new

agreement to be, you release the desire that the small self has held, and, once unmasked, become

complicit in a release of the attitudes or agreements made in collective agreement to be in

judgment or fear.

The unmasking of the false self in all ways is a prerequisite for what then happens. The

idea of manifestation becomes something very different. Imagine that you are a raindrop falling

upon a flower petal. The raindrop does not know what it is. It is as it can only be. And the

essence of the raindrop transforms the flower and supports its blooming. By nature of your

presence as the Divine Self in an encounter with the physically manifest world, your presence

serves as the raindrop to call into bloom all those things that have always been of the Divine, but

perhaps have not been known as such.

Now, we must comprehend the struggle that you are having with this teaching. There is

nothing made, or that could be made, that is not of God or made of the same fabric that has made

you, and your neighbor, and the one beside her. Everything—actually every thing—is in

vibration or in coherence with an octave. An octave is vibratory resonance. You understand the

concept of a scale on a piano keyboard. You may play the low notes or the high. Where your
attention goes, the energetic emission calls to it that which is of comparable vibration. The law of

resonance, if you wish, is ever active, can only be.

As you incarnate as the Divine Self, which is the action we engage in with you, your very

presence, the song that is sung by you as the energetic emission, must claim that which is of like

vibration. Because you exist in form, you are in the perfect position to reclaim a world to operate

in like accord. Again, accord—a-c-c-o-r-d or a-c-h-o-r-d as on a keyboard—the chord is struck.

“I know who I am in truth. I know what I am in truth. I know how I serve in truth. I am free. I am

free. I am free.” And what you are free of is all those things that you are no longer in accord to.

And those things that operate in fear, even as they masquerade as something else, will be seen by

you, and the opportunity will be presented to rise above them, to lift beyond the old to the new,

beyond the known.

Now, the claim has been made for each of you by your attendance to these teachings.

Some of you understand that what you are now encountering is a life where the creations of old,

while they still surround you, no longer hold the love they did or the meaning they had. And, in

fact, you have not outgrown them as much as realized yourself beyond the need for them. This

does not make them wrong. They were the perfect encounters for the identity that you had

claimed yourself as to develop through. Everything is an opportunity for learning, and the small

self’s creations are there to learn through.

But, as now you abide in a higher octave, you witness the world you’ve known and you

go, “Where is the map? Where is the map forward? Where do I go next? And how do I find my

way there?” In fact, you do not. You are directed as the Divine Self adheres herself to the

vibrational field and says, “Yes, this is the way forward. This is the way to truth. This is the run.

This is the walk. This is the dance I do as my Divine Self in expression.”

 The idea that you will have a map or a pathway with all of the guarantees that the small

self has used to keep herself hostage from freedom will be understood as something of the past.

Now, we are not telling any of you to quit your jobs, leave your families, live out of a suitcase,

and expect to be led each day. Your experience here in this incarnation, as you claim truth and

the adherence to it, which is in vibration, culminates in a creation of the identity of the Divine

Self at the cost of the old. “Behold, I make all things new” is not what you see out of the window

of the car when they have built a new restaurant down the street from you. “Look at that new

building.” “Behold, I make all things new” is the identity of the Divine Self unmasked, seen for

what it is in its expression. “I know how I serve.” And the claim “I know how I serve,” as sung

in the vibratory field, is what transforms matter by calling it back to its essence.

The unmasked self, the one who knows who he is, may liberate all things in its sight

through its witness, which is always in vibratory accord with the divine principle acting as him

or her. Some of you would like this to be a teaching of convenience. “On Tuesday, I will be holy.

On Wednesday, I go to that meeting where I have to be who I was.” If you wish it that way, you

are leading yourself down the wrong path. You may learn from the meeting as your old self, but

the Divine as you is as present when you make love as when you scold the child, as when you go

to work, as when you pray. You cannot be other than what you are, and, at this level of

agreement—“I know who I am in truth, what I am in truth, how I serve in truth”—you have

claimed the Kingdom into manifestation. And the True Self, who is what you are, must be in

expression, not as you wish it, but as it can only be.

He is interrupting. “People have asked prior about keeping the vibration high and being

unable to do it. Is this what you are saying about the meeting on Wednesday when we are

expected to be as we were?” Not in the least. That is the choice, and the one who says, “I can’t
be my Divine Self on Wednesday,” is looking for an opportunity to pretend to be the Divine Self.

If you wish this teaching and to embody it, you don’t do it part time. It will not work that way.

At this level, you have said yes to manifestation. And the idea of manifestation moves you well

beyond the practitioner who would seek to get her needs yet through what she believes to be the

magic or totems of an affirmation. It takes you well beyond the one who says, “Oh, just let me

know some peace, and let this be the way. I have tried so many things.”

This is the way of the Divine Self in operation, who has come as you for the purpose of

liberation—liberation of the self, yes, but also liberation of the world. You become the

embodiment of the Divine Self, and her expression is who and what she is in the world. By

nature of her being, things are made new, not because you are hurrying around trying to

transform and fix things, which would be the opportunity the small self might seek to take. You

are not placid. You are active as truth. And, in the energy of truth, you will be directed to each

opportunity to move to the next level of your expression.

We are speaking to Paul as well as you in this instruction. The data of history, which is

the old roadmap, must be seen as what it is—a construct that you have been in agreement to. You

didn’t write the map. You agreed to the map that you were handed, and you were all handed

much of the same map—what it means to be a man, what it means to be separate from your

Source, what it means to get what you want at the cost of truth. You have all agreed to these

things, and, in this reckoning now that humanity is facing, you are coming to terms with the fact

that your choices to operate in fear, to seek to subjugate your neighbor, to barter in agreements

that benefit some and not all, have led the way to potential destruction.

You are all aware of this now, and the awareness is intended to raise one voice, one

sound, one claim of freedom that will liberate the entire plane. It is not one man’s voice, one
woman’s voice. It is the voice of all men and women risen in unison, saying these words, “I

know who I am in truth, I know what I am in truth, I know how I serve in truth, I am free, I am

free, I am free.” And, as the claim is made in the energetic fields, the manifestations on this

plane are comprehended and re-known in a higher way.

He is in the background rolling his eyes. “Everybody’s going to say this at once. That’s a

very interesting thought.” The idea itself that you are of one Source, and that the I Am as you,

the divine principle, is in existence in all, will be the key to this. When humanity realizes that to

kill another is to deny the Divine that is in all men, is in all women, you will no longer kill. And

the mechanism for destruction that you have all created in your belief in separation, not only

from your God, but from your fellows, need not be the key for your discovery of your worth.

One voice must begin to sound, one voice in tone, in agreement with others joining it in

broadcast through the vibratory field that exists in this plane.

When we spoke to you last week, we claimed in tone the vibration that precedes the act

of service. The claim “I know how I serve” is in vibration and in coherence with a world, will

claim a world in a high octave. This is the one voice, and, spoken or sung, the sound of it will

cascade over the globe and awaken those who are ready to be awoken. Again, remember you

become as the raindrop that alights on the flower. The intention is in being, and, as each flower is

met by the raindrop, it may bloom and join in song, “I am free, I am free, I am free.”

We come in offering. We come in agreement. We come in love. And we come with the

gifts that we have known ourselves in because we know who we are. And, as we know who we

are, we may know you as well because you are as we, and in one voice we may sing for the

benefit of all mankind. Those who will hear these words and those who may never hear them

may be met by the tone that is sung in the vibrational field. When we tone tonight, we invite you
to join, and, in your imagination, imagine the sound of this collective, the hundreds gathered

here, seeking itself in recognition through the vibration of each being on this plane. You are

singing as the Divine Self, and her song, her expression, in resonance, is the drop of water that

opens the flower to sing.

You may say these words after us, by way of attunement, yes:

“I know who I am in truth. I know what I am in truth. I know how I serve in truth. I am

free. I am free. I am free.”

[Paul tones.] I know how I serve. Say this. “I know how I serve. I know how I serve. I

know how I serve.” Feel this, yes. The claim “I know how I serve,” its own activation, claims in

manifestation that which is of like accord, and the Divine as you in song and field is what claims

the Kingdom. The reunification of the Divine in material form, in congruence with this plane,

has been waited upon for far too long. You have always been divine. You cannot be other. But

the small self that has done its best to conceive of a world in light has still been prohibited from

expression. This is not a new teaching, but this embodiment at this level of claim has not been

known on this plane for a very long time.

We are here with you now—as shepherds, yes, as teachers, yes, but not as your authority.

Pray to God. Know the Divine Self, the God that is within you and in all humankind. He is your

director. She is your compass. And she will lead you well. We will say these words for you. We

would like you to join us in resonance, and the claim is made for all who are present, all who will

hear these words at whatever time, at whatever note they are registered in. You will say this now

and receive the benefit of the claim yourselves:

 “I know who you are in truth. I know what you are in truth. I know how you serve in

truth. You are free. You are free. You are free.”

Thank you each. We will return in a moment with your questions on the teaching. That

would be our preference tonight. Thank you for your presence. Stop now, please.

Q: The teaching was perfect for me today on a very special day of knowing how to come into

service. I’ve been through a period of two and a half years of awakening and I’m very interested

to hear what the Guides may have.

A: They’re speaking to the teaching tonight. So I can tune in to you but I don’t know what your

question is, truthfully. I don’t know what you’re asking.

Q: I was reading I am the Word over the past few days and became more aware of Source’s

sharing of our life and us giving our life back and that resonated with me, especially today, and it

coincides with a children’s book I wrote in eighth grade, and it’s been opening, and so being in

service, I’m seeking.

A: You’re in service by being. This is true for all of you. Stop trying to look for a sign. You may

choose them. They may come to you to operate through. But how one serves in the highest

accord is how they are most perfectly expressed or fully realized as the True Self. The misnomer

or misunderstanding is that this should be your occupation. Perhaps it may be and perhaps you
may call it to you that way, but, if you heard the instruction, the claim “I know how I serve” is in

resonance in the field. And, in the expression of the field, you begin to claim the Kingdom. The

realization of the Divine that exists in form right before your eyes is what lifts the world to the

divine nature that is its inheritance. How you choose to express in your life, how you operate

through profession or through artistry may be in the moment or may be procedural. “I will go to

medical school in service to my profession and inherit a practice or claim one for myself.” You

may choose these things, but how each individual serves may vary greatly, depending on where

you stand. At any given moment, in any given day, you want your absolutes. “Tell me what to

do. I am willing to serve.” Then be in agreement to be in expression, aware of the divine

principle, your true nature, and the God within others. And, if you think for a moment that you

will not be called forth in expression, you would be very wrong. You must all comprehend this.

You are always in expression. That is your vibratory field or consciousness that is manifesting

your lives. As you claim the Divine as your True Self, that is the aspect of you that you go into

resonance with and in manifestation to. You call the Kingdom into being by the nature of your

presence. What you do there in some ways is simply be as the Divine Self. That doesn’t mean

you’re idle. You will rarely be idle because you will be called by each day, by each encounter, to

know, not only who you are, but who others are as well. Thank you for the fine question.

Q: I am struggling with the abuse of the thirteen children by their parents and trying to dislike the

act, but still love the people, and I think that’s what I should understand.

A: [Paul recommends reading a lecture, available in the archives, that he channeled in Calgary

after the Pulse Nightclub shooting: “How to Deal with an Atrocity.”] What I actually hear is
she’s looking for reasons to be angry and she needs the outrage to be in action. There can be

times when outrage can be effective if it motivates you towards good. If it motivates you towards

blame or a need for recrimination or denial of the Divine within—“There can be no God in those

people”—you become the executioner of those you witness. And to do that is frankly to put

yourself outside of the Divine. Remember this teaching well. What you hold in darkness calls

you to it. It is very easy to see the Divine in a child. They are blameless. They could do no

wrong. It is much more challenging to claim the Divine in the one you believe to be evil, or the

one who has lost her way so much that she could be capable of such things. Everybody is your

teacher. Do you know this? And everything you are seeing, you are in fact in agreement to,

which again means co-resonance. A world where this may exist in is a world you have agreed to

and claimed to be, all of you in fact. And the lifting of consciousness to a movement beyond

blame or hatred will heal the world far more than the executioner’s axe. All that does is give you

all permission to wipe your hands, walk away, and pretend that justice was done. Whatever

claimed them in their fear or their actions of negativity is present still because it’s been acted

upon. What you damn, damns you back. What you call to darkness, calls you there as well.

He is asking about children and their pain. We will address this differently than he

expects. He is expecting us to say people incarnate for different reasons and to have different

experiences. But, in fact, some incarnate to show others what it means to be in this position, to

call forth the hearts and the hands of a world who must say, “We cannot abide this. We must

change. We must care for our neighbors and the wellbeing of their offspring.” You have all told

the story about the people next door. “We didn’t know it was going on in their house. We

minded our own business.” In fact, you did. And then you cry out in horror at what was going on

next door. You can say next door, or at the border, or at that country over there. The crimes are
committed every day, one against the next, and you pretend you don’t know or you are not

culpable. In fact, you are all your brothers’ keepers. Spare your outrage and lift a hand to help

someone new. That will bring much more to the world than saying “no” and “you are evil” or

whatever you would claim. Put the same energy into helping someone that is not receiving it, and

you may spare them and their offspring more fate of comparable suffering. Period. Period.

Period.

Q: I am feeling a little bit confused by the teaching in that I’m not sure how to know whether I’m

headed in the right direction or what to do as far as aligning myself to the higher self.

A: They’re saying to me to say this. So that’s been the teaching consecutively. It’s really all

about that. There’s a series of books the Guides have written that are all about this. Once again,

every time I think what they’re teaching is about being a little happier, a little easier in the world,

I get this jolt when they say this is really about something very different, this is about the

manifestation of the Divine. And they’ve said that. That was in the very first book.

I’m going to go to you. You actually come through saying, “I want everybody to tell me

I’m not doing anything wrong and then I’ll be okay. That’s all I really want.” So the idea of “as

long as it’s not wrong, it’s okay.”

They’re saying that’s not necessary. The claim we make with you, “We know who you

are, what you are and how you serve,” while it will support you in claiming the alignment, must

be integrated by you and assumed. Now, the assumption of the Divine Self in the material form

is where we have been taking you. This is not a mystical event, although the language of it

sounds as such. It’s really quite simple. You have been existing in a sea, a dense sea, if you wish,
and once lifted out of it into the air you don’t know where you are because you have believed if

you are not operating in that density you don’t know what to do. Understand this. You are being

assumed in the higher vibration, which is here to support you, not to drop you on your head or to

leave you by the wayside. If you wish to know where you are going, you may pray to be led, or

may be aligning to the aspect of you who knows where he needs to go. The challenge for so

many of you is that you believe that there is a long view required, and there cannot be. Your idea

of a long view, while planful, yes, is also assuming that your circumstances will be what they are

and have been. And, as you align to a higher consciousness, as your broadcast shifts, what the

broadcast claims into manifestation cannot be what it was. Underline cannot. So the idea of

planfulness—“I will be as I think I should be five years from now”—is rather ridiculous because

the consciousness that you hold that would predict this will be obsolete well before then. Period.

Period. Period.

Q: It’s hard for me to get away from being good or bad and doing the teachings properly or not

and the feeling that I’m letting my Divine Self down when I’m not aligned properly. But I’m

wondering, are we serving even when we are in fear, in judgment, the lower frequency?

A: They’re saying yes and no. You are learning through these observations. The Divine Self as

you is present through them, but is not being activated necessarily by the encounter, but in its

observance may support you in moving beyond it. If you understand that everything is an

opportunity to learn—high, low, and in-between—you will stop judging yourself. To imagine

that the Divine Self is angry with you is to create an angry god who wants you to behave. If you

want that, you may have it. Many people do, but they suffer greatly because they can be cast out
of the Kingdom for any indiscretion. If you understand that you are responsible to your actions,

the creation of karma, if you wish, you will understand that there is always opportunity to rectify

any choice that was made in fear. Simply align to the higher and you will understand yourself

there. Period. Period. Period.

They’re saying I can say this. We just finished a workshop this last weekend in Portland,

Oregon, and they did an exercise they’d never done before and I don’t know if they’ll do it again,

but I was surprised by it. In the claim, “I know who I am, I know what I am,” which is a claim of

manifestation, they asked everybody to try to summon a fear and to align and to go into the

resonance of the fear and nobody could. So at the level of the Divine Self in form there’s no fear.

It’s just not operable. Try as you might, nobody could frighten themselves. I could frighten

myself in about half a second if I want to, but at that level it doesn’t seem to be possible.

They’re saying nor can it be. It was actually not an exercise, it was a way of

comprehending the teaching. The Divine as you does not operate in fear or judgment. When you

do this to yourself, the small self is playing god. She will exhaust herself eventually, and then,

perhaps, cease. If you wish to let it go, remember who you are, the True Self. Let her call you

forth. Stop trying to do it alone. Period. Period. Period.

Q: I guess this is along the same as everybody else has sort of been. I just wanted to make sure I

was understanding it correctly. What I wrote down for my own mind is leading by example. Like

I know a year ago a lot of things, people, encounters frightened me, and now when I think of

myself and being in alignment things along that line that used to bother me I feel like I can deal

with them better, so no matter how other people behave towards me or in the environment I

encounter. Am I viewing that correctly as far as being in higher self?

A: Let me go to you. You’re coming through saying, “I’m trying really hard to do it right and it’s

helping me, but I don’t know if I’m doing it right.” They’re saying she’s only doing it as she

thinks she can. To agree that nobody else can connect you to your anger without your

permission, or your fear without your agreement is an enormous step. Now to understand that

you don’t need these things or need to protect them would be the step we encourage you towards.

Imagine you lived in a neighborhood where you thought it was best to arm yourself before you

left the house. Many of you live your lives this way. “I am never going to be safe. I must be

shielded. I must be protected.” As long as you think this, you might find some solace in the

weapon you carry or the armor you don, but you do so at the cost of freedom. The claim “I am

free, I am free, I am free” actually moves you beyond fear. At the level of the True Self, fear

does not exist. Do you understand this? So making healthy choices not to react is a fine step. But

realizing that fear is a lie and you don’t have to protect yourself from it, but that you can rise to a

place of being where it can’t agree to you, is where we intend to take you all. Thank you for the

fine question.

Q: Can I just say one more thing? So by continuing to ride that, am I going to rise up there by

continuing to be aware of it?

A: They’re saying yes. To keep it simple, yes. Awareness is a key here. But understand that

defending yourself from something is still you in engagement with it. Do you understand that?

There’s a difference when you rise above it. Then there is nothing to defend. Period. Period.

Period.
Q: As we progress and evolve in living this in our life as much as we possibly can, life does get

where you’re just so connected in the overwhelming beautiful sense of love, just the beauty that

surrounds us. And then those lows. How do you equalize? I get hung up on not wanting to do the

work with expectation, but in truth I do. The pain and suffering and sadness, whatever, clearly is

the push to having us do the work. Just guidance in, is it okay to be picking up the book and re-

reading, and re-reading when you get off?

A: They’re saying if you wish, of course, because you are reminded by the book of a level of

truth that you are not in alignment to. To be reminded of something can be very helpful. When

you are in the rut, you reach for something outside of the rut to pull you out. A higher agreement,

a new potential, can be very helpful here.

I’m going to tune in to you. There’s a little part of you that comes through that says in a

kind of a tough voice, “I don’t think it’s going to work for me.” Sort of like “watch it, I’ll show

you.” It’s a bit of the “I’ll show you.” The idea is “it can’t work for me because I would have to

be helped” and then you come through saying “and I can’t be helped” and you say “because I’m

not good enough. I don’t get what I want.” This is old stuff, this is childhood stuff, this isn’t you

now, I want to go to age ten with this stuff.

Tell the young lady she’s loved even when she’s angry and has blisters on her fingers

from holding them in fists. Tell her she’s loved when she is not feeling pretty or happy or joyful

or even wanting to talk with other people. Tell her it doesn’t matter what she does. She is still

loved and there is nothing that is possible that could make this change. Now, your agreement to

this needs only to be at the level of a pinprick. All it takes is a pin to burst a balloon, and, when
this balloon bursts, expect some tears and then an amazing amount of laughter. You have the

right to be here. Paul is a testament to pain and doing the work in spite of it. Come to us. Stop

saying, “No, I cannot have this.” If you couldn’t have it, you never would have found it. We will

promise you that much. There is no one here, and in fact no one born, who is unworthy of being.

And there is no one born, regardless of what they think of themselves, who is not loved. Period.

Period. Period.

I’m going to go back to the Guides and see if they have anything to say in closing.

One thing, one thing, only one thing. Give thanks, friends, for how far you have come.

Even on the days when you can’t see it, you have come far. And rejoice that there is a day

tomorrow in which you may benefit from being and may learn and sing your song in truth. “I am

free, I am free, I am free” is a claim of truth. The Divine as you is always free. Let him sing. Let

her sing. And, in one voice, we may change the world. Blessings to each of you and goodnight.
