Overall, I believe that the combination of our main product and ancillary texts is effective due to the

synergetic links created throughout. The consistent use of the same camera-work, editing and mise-
en-scene links the promotional package together in a way that that creates a distinct image for our
chosen artist. The design elements of each is linked by using the same typography and ‘Ivy & Gold’
logo. This is effective because it creates a sense of ease due to its denoted organisation and
preciseness. We intended to include the wolf character in all three elements in order to create a
unique image for the artist. By doing so, it acts as something that the audience can recognise the
artist by. The wolf character also represents the artists as care-free, and portrays that they don’t
take themselves too seriously. This is an appealing characteristic that indie pop listeners look for in
an artist, adhering to a mass audience.
