Last Saturday was the best day for me and my preschool students.

We had the
chance to visit one of the biggest zoo in Malaysia which is Zoo Negara. This trip was
organized by the school with the support from Persatuan Ibu Bapa dan Guru (PIBG).The
students arrived at school early in the morning. I can see the excitement in their faces as
this is their first trip with their friends. While waiting for the bus me and the other teachers
distributed some breakfast for them. After the bus arrived and the students settled down,
we start our journey to the zoo. When we arrived, we were greeted by some of the
zookeepers. Before we enter the zoo, we were briefed with some rules and regulations
that we have to follow by the zookeepers. Then they brought us to the lion’s den, the kids
were very excited as they witness the king of the jungle in front of their eyes. We also
had the chance to feed the giraffes and elephants. the kids got crazy when they watched
the stage shows performed by the talented animal such as parrots, eagle and the orang
utan. In the afternoon, we had our lunch and get ready to went home. Before we went
back, the zoo management gave us some souvenirs. They hoped that we can come
again sometimes. While we are on our way back to school, I saw happiness in my
student’s eyes although they were tired. It was a great moment for them.
