Event Organizing Mar – July 2015-2016

Surrey Sharks Field Hockey Club
A part of a group of about 8 people who is in charge of organizing a 7-Aside Field Hockey
Tournament. In charge in finding a venue for the clubs after party, getting donations for prizes, organizing
a beer garden. Getting the beer garden approved and the paper work. Finding volunteers to serve at beer
garden and organize the schedule.

Coaching
Surrey Sharks Field Hockey Club Mar – Jun 2014-2016
Co-coach U15 girl’s field hockey team in the spring. In charge of running games/practice and organize
tournaments and sending emails. This is my third year with the team.
Board of Directors Dec 2013 - 2015
On the board of directors for my Field Hockey Club – Surrey Sharks. We oversee what we decide to do
with the money the club is bringing, have new ideas to get more kids involved in our club.

Training to become treasurer of my Field Hockey Club Surry Sharks, in charge of applying for government
fielding grants. Keeping track of all our expenses, writing cheques, keep track of last year’s budget,
present budget. (around $80,000 budget)

Completed 87 credits in my program of Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching, also have my
Sports Science Diploma. Just finished my 5th year of playing varsity soccer, 3 years at Douglas
College, 2 years as the captain where we won the Bronze medal in Nationals.

Completed 27 credits in my program of General Studies, played on the Women’s Soccer team for two
years while I was attending the university.
