CASE STUDY

20. Mr. Varma is the General Manager of Jacob Pvt.


Ltd., Co., one fine morning he heard a noise in the
factory premises. After probing into the matter, he
came to know that his sub-ordinate Mr.Menon has
locked horns with a supervisor who had not
completed the task assigned to him by Mr.Menon.
He was very angry and was shouting at the
supervisor. The supervisor also very much
perturbed as he had worked hard to complete the
job assigned to him by Mr.Varma two days back.
Mr. Menon warned the supervisor that his
promotion may be withheld. The supervisor said
that it was not his fault as he was busy doing the
work assigned by Mr.Varma.
Questions :
(a) What are the main issues involved in the
above case? Discuss.
