Our group was able to decide what project to conduct because we were having a difficult

time deciding, then I had the idea to do something for our veterans. So as a group we decided

that homeless rates of veterans was a major problem, so we concluded that we would help the

VA. We believe that this was an important issue in our community because of the rates of

homelessness veterans in SC and they served us so we should serve them for a change. When we

passed out our product, I believe that the community had a positive reaction. I believe that it did

raise awareness for our cause. Their reaction affected me in a positive way because, it made me

feel like I was doing something good for my community. I do think that our group made a

difference in the community because, I believe that we have raised enough awareness so that

more people will start to look into the problem and need for support. I believe the importance in

spreading awareness is that it gives important insight to many of the problems the world faces

and by making people aware you are giving the problem a better chance of being resolved or

changed.
