Welcome!

Decision ToolKit is a bundle of three decision analysis add-ins for Excel:

• RiskSim for Monte Carlo simulation

• SensIt for sensitivity analysis
• TreePlan for decision trees

Requirements
Decision ToolKit add-ins are compatible with Windows Excel 97-2007 (Windows XP or
Vista OS) and Macintosh Excel X and 2004 (Mac OS).

Installation
For detailed installation instructions, see the install.pdf file. Double-click the zip file to
extract the xla, xls, and pdf files.

The simplest way to use each add-in is to launch Excel and use Excel's Open command to
load the xla add-in file.

Another way is to copy the xla add-in file to the Program Files \ Microsoft Office \ Office \
Library folder. For Windows Vista without administrative privileges, copy the add-in file to
the C:\ Users \ UserName \ AppData \ Roaming \ Microsoft \ AddIns folder. Then activate the
add-in using Excel's add-in manager.
