LITANY TO THE SACRED HEAD OF JESUS
«It is the will of Our Lord that His Sacred Head be adored as the Seat of
Divine Wisdom, as the Shrine of the powers of the Soul and the faculties of
the mind and in these the Wisdom which guided every affection of the Sacred
Heart and motions of the whole being of Jesus our Lord and our God»
T. H.
Teresa Hetena HIGGINSON (1844-1905) was an exemplary catholic
school-teacher.
She received from Heaven the favours of the Sacred Wounds and
Mystical Marriage
She was chosen to make known to the world the great desire of Jesus
that His Sacred Head be worshipped as the Seat of Divine Wisdom as an
act of reparation for intellectual pride and infidelity - the crying evils of
our times
«This DEVOTION is the completion not only of the Devotion of the
Sacred Heart, but the crowning and perfection of all Devotions»
Teresa Higginson now lies in the cemetery of Neston - CHESHIRE
