La jeunesse représente une période cruciale de notre existence. C’est aussi une arme à double
tranchant, mieux vaut en profiter pour faire la différence dans sa vie et dans la vie d’autrui.

Il est évident que les jeunes ont un rôle vital à jouer dans la société d’aujourd’hui.
MOMENTUM est une initiative qui supporte les jeunes en leur donnant l’opportunité de
débattre de questions qui les préoccupent (Expression), de s’exprimer sur des sujets qui les
passionnent (Passion) et de s’engager dans les communautés où ils résident (Mission). De là
est né le slogan de notre projet MOMENTUM : Mission, Passion, Expression.

Par ailleurs, la plate-forme Web de MOMENTUM vise à rassembler les jeunes autour d’une
même table pour qu’ils puissent exprimer leurs points de vue, débattre de thèmes qui les
intéressent et lancer des projets dans leurs communautés partout dans la planète.

Grâce au travail des bénévoles, collaborateurs et ambassadeurs de MOMENTUM dans divers

pays tels que le Mexique, le Canada, le Sénégal, le Cameroun, les États-Unis, le Maroc, le
Pakistan, l’Allemagne ou l’Inde, des projets ont été initiés, des esprits se sont épanouis, des
vies ont changé et une étincelle d’espoir s’est enflammée dans plusieurs coins du globe.

Un exemple éloquent est l’initiative d’un membre marocain de MOMENTUM qui a lancé un
projet appelé GENIE afin de regrouper les jeunes talents et d’outiller les porteurs de projets.

Une autre jeune leader du Canada a accompli un stage humanitaire au Bangladesh et a rédigé
un récit sur son expérience. Dans ce numéro, elle nous relate les péripéties de ses voyages.

les jours et il faut faire preuve de calme, patience,
innovation, rapidité et surtout de répartie.

AIESEC fonctionne comme une entreprise, sa

seule différence est qu'elle est composée
entièrement d'étudiants et d’étudiantes.

J’ai également fait un stage en entreprise au

two young laureates of the
Millenium Excellence
Scholarships. These young
leaders both participated in the
leadership program Shad Valley
as well as in the 2008 World
Youth Congress and in the
Dictée des Amériques and they
wish, through this project, to
give the opportunity to
hundreds, even thousands of
young people from Canada and
abroad, to live such life-
