The album Sénescence is a thought on the relationship between men and Earth.

Through nine original compositions, Nouvelle R strives to create a new,

refreshing, and colourful musical genre. The three musicians work hard to offer
an accessible, yet, refined jazz through improvisation, contemplative melodies,
colorful harmonies, and surprising rhythms. With its instrumental structure, the
trio proposes a music full of texture and atmosphere that highlights the
narrative frame at the heart of the album.

Synopsis: For decades, the mankind has spread and enriched himself in a
selfish manner without considering the health of the planet that welcomes him.
Pushing the limits, Mother Nature keeps calm while being abused.
Catastrophes, disasters, and distress signals clearly indicate the point of no
return. There is no turning back. One day, when wealth will only be superficial,
and humans won’t have any other ambitions but to prevent the extinction of
humanity, will they finally come down from their pedestal? While they sow
their future in sterile soil, the fields become arid and the oceans become filthy,
the Earth patiently waits for the Judgment Day.
