List of LAX courses offered in Semester 2 – 2017/2018

Kursus LAX 6-mata tertera dibawah terbuka kepada semua pelajar KECUALI pelajar tahun
akhir yang masih kekurangan mata LAX untuk bergraduat.
The 6-point LAX courses listed below are offered to all students EXCEPT final year students who still
lack LAX points to graduate.

Semua pelajar FPV bagi sesi akademik 2017/2018 dikehendaki mendaftar kursus LAX 12-
mata yang ditawarkan seperti berikut.

All FPV students for the 2017/2018 academic session are required to register for the following 12-point
LAX activity offered.

1. LAX 2024 Public Service Announcement

Bagi pelajar tahun akhir yang masih kekurangan mata LAX untuk bergraduat, anda
dikehendaki mengemukakan permohonan rasmi secara bertulis melalui pihak fakulti anda dan
ditujukan terus kepada Ketua Bahagian Kemahiran Bahasa Inggeris, Pusat Pemajuan
Kompetensi Bahasa (CALC). Pendaftaran hanya boleh dibuat setelah mendapat kelulusan
pihak CALC. Sila hadir terus ke pejabat CALC untuk maklumat lanjut.

Final year students who still lack LAX points to graduate are required to submit a formal written request
via their faculty office, and the letter must be addressed to the Head of the Proficiency Unit, Centre for
the Advancement of Language Competence (CALC). Registration can be done once approval is given.

Makluman Penting
Important Announcement

Untuk makluman pelajar, mulai semester ini, taklimat bersemuka antara instruktor dan pelajar
pada minggu ke-3 semester seperti yang dijalankan pada semester-semester sebelum ini
tidak akan diadakan. Taklimat aktiviti LAX kepada pelajar akan dilaksanakan secara atas
talian mulai Semester 2, 2017/2018. Semua maklumat dan dokumen berkaitan taklimat aktiviti
LAX serta perlaksanaan aktiviti LAX boleh dimuat turun melalui laman sesawang
www.biglaxblog.blogspot.com. Pelajar juga dikehendaki untuk mendaftar masuk ke dalam
kumpulan Edmodo masing-masing melalui laman sesawang www.edmodo.com, dan kod
kumpulan Edmodo setiap kumpulan boleh dicapai melalui www.biglaxblog.blogspot.com.

For your information, starting this semester, face-to-face briefing between the instructors and
the students (usually conducted in week 3 of the semester) will no longer be conducted. LAX
briefing for students will be conducted online (Virtual Briefing) commencing from Semester 2,
2017/2018. All information and documents related to LAX briefing as well as the
implementation of LAX activities can be downloaded from www.biglaxblog.blogspot.com.
Students must also register into the respective Edmodo groups via www.edmodo.com, and
the code for each Edmodo group can be retrieved from www.biglaxblog.blogspot.com.
