Dairy farming in one of the most economically viable self-employment
enterprise attracting the attentions of educated un-employs. The government
and institutions like BEST are responding favorably to finance above classes of
people to start dairy farm enterprise, which not only eradicate unemployment
but also improve the socioeconomic conditions of the bhramin community.
Further, dairy farming is an important source of subsidiary income for
farmers. The manure from animals provides a good source organic matter for
improving the fertility of the soil. The gobar gas from the dung is used as fuel
for domestic purpose and also for running oil engines for drawing water from
wells and also for providing lights in house and livestock sheds. The slurry
obtained from gobar gas plants which will be odourless, will not attract flies
can be used to prepare vermicompost which is having higher fertility value
than fresh cow dung or ordinary compost. The surplus fodder and agricultural
by-products are gainfully utilized for feeding the animals. Since, agriculture is
mostly seasonal, dairy farming enables the farmers to get subsidiary income
throughout the year.
The commercial dairy unit that we are going to establish will function on
scientific lines and an ecofriendly project that helps to improve the human
health and availability of quality milk and milk products in the stateECONOMIC PARAMETERSName of the Finance Resource a BEST
