Why journal?

1. Promoting ownership of the pupils towards the task that they do.
2. Encourages writing in a non-threatening environment.
3. Improves thinking skills by practicing and allows active participation in
classroom.
4. As a tool to know the child better and help if there is any existing problems.

Ways to evaluate
1) Pupils content of the journal according to their weekly activity in classroom
and outside of the classroom.
2) Pupils’ effort in taking interest and doing the journal according to their
creativity.
3) Partially on the spelling and writing skills. `
