How does this software support the Common Core Standard you selected?

This lesson will introduce students to the concept of irony by examining the song
"Ironic" by Alanis Morisette. This song focuses on situational irony to get the kids
introduced to the concept of it.

After students listen and discuss the song ‘Ironic’ by Alanis Morisette students will work
together and use Microsoft Word to write a skit that portrays an ironic situation based
on an image. Students will be required to highlight which parts of the skit are ironic and
embed the image into the Word Document.
