Preventative Maintenance

1. Run hardware diagnostic test - all pass


2. Clear all temp files
3. Remove all user profiles
4. Run SEP AV scan
5. Update all hware drivers
6. Check for windows update

User tested ok

-schedule for laptop reimage as user aware on slowness and apps error.

-Perform hware diag - all pass


-Restore prev ver - still apps error and slow responding

-request user to backup data

-perform OS reimage
-update all drivers
-install all NUP apps
-activate all license

-user tested ok

1. HDD replacement done


2. Load Win 7 image
3. update all apps
4. activate wins and off
5. install printers and test with apps

6. user tested ok

1. verify h/ware diagnose


2. PSU failed at h/ware diag
3. Called lenovo for warranty claim

4. vendor replaced psu and issue resolved


5. tested all apps and update all apps
6. user tested ok

1. reset user profile


2. remove regedit profile list
3. user tested ok
