The Blessed Man – Psalm 1

Treading the path of Life,

In the pursuit of meaning,
Not with wicked companions,
Or sinners’ resolutions,
Neither ridicule of the feeble.
The Blessed Man.

In prosperous delight,
Walking in the light,
Rooted and fruitful,
Season after season,
In God’s Light.
The Blessed Man.

Double minded and indecisive,

Tossed and turned,
Here today, gone tomorrow,
The Wicked Man.
Cannot hold a candle to,
The Blessed Man.

His paths illuminated,

His Steps ordered,
His protection secured,
His prosperity assured,
For the Lord watches over,
The Righteous Man.
