It​ ​is​ ​my​ ​sincere​ ​pleasure​ ​to​ ​offer​ ​this​ ​letter​ ​of​ ​recommendation​ ​for​ ​Miss​ ​Kelly 
Quinlan.​ ​ ​I​ ​worked​ ​with​ ​Miss​ ​Quinlan​ ​in​ ​two​ ​different​ ​capacities.​ ​ ​I​ ​was​ ​her​ ​supervisor​ ​in​ ​my 
role​ ​as​ ​the​ ​Assistant​ ​Principal​ ​at​ ​McDonald​ ​Elementary​ ​School​ ​where​ ​she​ ​served​ ​as​ ​both​ ​an 
IA​ ​and​ ​a​ ​PCA​ ​and​ ​I​ ​was​ ​a​ ​parent​ ​in​ ​her​ ​pre-K​ ​class,​ ​as​ ​my​ ​daughter​ ​was​ ​fortunate​ ​enough​ ​to 
have​ ​her​ ​as​ ​a​ ​teacher​ ​at​ ​Windmill​ ​Day​ ​School.  
 
Miss​ ​Quinlan​ ​served​ ​McDonald​ ​Elementary​ ​School​ ​students​ ​in​ ​dual​ ​roles​ ​this​ ​past 
school​ ​year.​ ​ ​Our​ ​building​ ​was​ ​made​ ​better​ ​by​ ​the​ ​outstanding​ ​job​ ​she​ ​did​ ​as​ ​an​ ​IA​ ​in 
multiple​ ​grade​ ​levels,​ ​including​ ​both​ ​primary​ ​and​ ​intermediate​ ​grades.​ ​ ​Miss​ ​Quinlan’s 
dedication,​ ​enthusiasm,​ ​pedagogical​ ​knowledge,​ ​and​ ​desire​ ​to​ ​build​ ​relationships​ ​with 
those​ ​around​ ​her​ ​made​ ​her​ ​an​ ​absolute​ ​asset​ ​to​ ​our​ ​building.​ ​ ​She​ ​worked​ ​with​ ​students​ ​in 
both​ ​whole​ ​and​ ​small​ ​group​ ​settings,​ ​differentiated​ ​instruction,​ ​communicated​ ​with​ ​her 
peers,​ ​and​ ​made​ ​each​ ​classroom​ ​a​ ​place​ ​where​ ​the​ ​students​ ​were​ ​excited​ ​to​ ​learn.​ ​ ​Miss 
Quinlan​ ​also​ ​served​ ​one​ ​of​ ​our​ ​special-needs​ ​5th​ ​ ​ ​grade​ ​students​ ​as​ ​a​ ​PCA.​ ​ ​She​ ​balanced 
high-expectations,​ ​a​ ​genuine​ ​sense​ ​of​ ​empathy,​ ​and​ ​flawless​ ​communication​ ​with​ ​the 
teachers​ ​around​ ​her,​ ​which​ ​allowed​ ​the​ ​student​ ​she​ ​worked​ ​with​ ​to​ ​gain​ ​the​ ​confidence 
needed​ ​to​ ​exceed​ ​expectations.   
 
I​ ​am​ ​proud​ ​to​ ​say​ ​that​ ​my​ ​daughter​ ​had​ ​Miss​ ​Quinlan​ ​for​ ​a​ ​pre-K​ ​teacher.​ ​ ​As​ ​a 
parent​ ​in​ ​Miss​ ​Quinlan’s​ ​room,​ ​I​ ​always​ ​was​ ​made​ ​aware​ ​of​ ​the​ ​class​ ​schedule,​ ​the​ ​goals​ ​my 
daughter​ ​was​ ​working​ ​towards,​ ​her​ ​continued​ ​progress,​ ​and​ ​the​ ​general​ ​happenings​ ​within 
the​ ​classroom.​ ​ ​My​ ​daughter​ ​woke​ ​up​ ​for​ ​school​ ​each​ ​morning​ ​excited​ ​to​ ​attend​ ​Miss 
Quinlan’s​ ​class​ ​as​ ​Miss​ ​Quinlan​ ​both​ ​challenged​ ​and​ ​supported​ ​my​ ​daughter​ ​to​ ​success.​ ​ ​I 
would​ ​gladly​ ​put​ ​my​ ​daughter​ ​back​ ​in​ ​Miss​ ​Quinlan’s​ ​class​ ​without​ ​reservation,​ ​as​ ​I​ ​know 
she​ ​will​ ​instill​ ​in​ ​her​ ​the​ ​grit​ ​needed​ ​for​ ​success,​ ​all​ ​while​ ​making​ ​learning​ ​engaging​ ​and 
fun! 
 
It​ ​is​ ​truly​ ​my​ ​honor​ ​to​ ​recommend​ ​Miss​ ​Kelly​ ​Quinlan​ ​for​ ​a​ ​classroom​ ​teaching 
position.​ ​ ​Any​ ​building​ ​would​ ​be​ ​made​ ​better​ ​with​ ​her​ ​as​ ​part​ ​of​ ​the​ ​team.​ ​ ​I​ ​trust​ ​her​ ​with 
my​ ​own​ ​daughter’s​ ​education,​ ​which​ ​serves​ ​as​ ​my​ ​highest​ ​possible​ ​recommendation.
