❏ SWBAT identify which rhythms I am modeling to those that are on the board
❏ Basically a multiple choice rhythmic dictation
❏ SWBAT to repeat these rhythms that I am modeling on the board
❏ SWBAT maintain a steady pulse with what their rhythms, even when their
neighbor is playing something else
❏ SWBAT identify when the rhythms repeat

❏ Introduction with Rhythmic exercise
❏ Play 4 Quarter Notes, Have Students Repeat
❏ Play 8 Eighth Notes, Have Students Repeat
❏ Have students subdivide out loud
❏ Pick a rhythm on the board
❏ Have several students model this as, if they are willing!
❏ If not, you model the rhythm again, and have ensemble echo
❏ Split ensemble, one half plays a concert Eb, the other half claps.
❏ Repeat this but switch
