To ensure accountability for public resources, promote transparency, and help improve government
operations, in partnership with stakeholders, for the benefit of the Filipino people.

Objectives:
1. Enhance and expand risk-based financial, compliance and performance auditing.
2. Improve implementation of audit recommendations and recovery of unsettled liabilities,
3. Impact legislation, government policy and management decision-making
4. Improve success of cases resulting from fraud audit findings.
5. Promulgate relevant and clear audit rules, regulations and standards.
6. Strengthen internal control systems and address institutional weaknesses
7. Improve engagement with and responsiveness to auditees.
8. Strengthen audit quality assurance and control to ensure consistent adherence to audit standards
and fair representation of agency performance.
9. Rationalize audit methodologies and approaches,

12. Strengthen collaboration with oversight agencies and key partners.

14. Recruit, hire, and deploy required personnel in a timely manner

16. Enhance performance measurement, management rewards and promotional system and employee
retention.

19. Enhance government accounting and financial management systems.
20. Update pertinent public sector accounting standards, policies and procedures to conform to
changes in international public sector accounting and financial reporting standards.
