Syllabus for Mid-Semester

 Mid-Semester would consist of both open book & closed book questions.

 Syllabus for the same is given below:

o The Scope and Method of Economics – Text book chapter – 1
o The Economic Problem: Scarcity and Choice – Text book chapter – 2
o Demand Supply and Market Equilibrium – Text book chapter – 3
o Demand and Supply Applications – Text book chapter – 4
o Elasticity – Text book chapter – 5
o Household Behavior and Consumer Choice – Text book chapter – 6
[APPENDIX is not the part of the syllabus for mid- semester]

 Total marks for Mid-Semester is 70 (Weightage in total marks- 35%)

o Open book part - 40 marks & closed book-30 marks

 Mid-Semester will comprise of objective, true-false, fill in the blanks, short answer &
long answer types questions.

 Please don’t forget to bring your calculators and ID cards on your examination day.
