Vision Statement Outline

Intro/Thesis

The number one question asked to people when they say they want to be a teacher is why,

what is your purpose for wanting to pursue that profession? Well my answer is because I want to

have a positive impact on student’s lives inside and outside of the classroom. I want to help

students learn valuable information on the subject I teach, as well as help them prepare for their

future. In this paper I will demonstrate how I plan to positively influence student’s learning by

being a continuous learner in my profession, stating the qualities and skills I believe a teacher

should possess and what my plans are for a productive classroom.

Body Paragraph I

As an educator learning should never stop when beginning teaching but instead be a

continuous process benefitting the overall learning production between students and teachers.

 Exchange ideas with colleagues and peers.

 Receive feedback from students.

 Takes every students uniqueness into account.

Body Paragraph II

Teachers should possess certain skills and qualities to be successful and reach through to

their students.
  Be motivational and provide initiative

 Be patient and respectful

 Nondiscriminatory and accountable

Body Paragraph III

My plans for my classroom as a teacher is to provide a comfortable learning environment

that is engaging and active.

 Demand respect from students and demand they respect one another

 Provide a cooperative learning environment and allow students to work and

communicate together.

 Provide lessons, instruction and learning with a wide variety of resources and use

of technology.

Conclusion

My vision as a teacher is to impact students in a positive way by being a continuous

learner in the profession, possessing essential qualities and skills it takes to be a successful

educator and implementing a cooperative learning environment inside the classroom to allow

students the best opportunity at learning.
