With the aim of capacitating the personnel in the Regional Office on the core functions ‘on monitoring, assessing and evaluating learning outcomes, the Regional Monitoring, Evaluation and Plan Adjustment (MEPA) Technology was introduced to the Regional Office Technical Staff in CY 2015 through the Basic Education Sector Transformation (BEST) Program 2. As part of the continuing capability-building program on MEPA/MEA by this Office in partnership with BEST Program for Regional Office and Schools Division Staff, a three- day live-out Training-Workshop on the Division Monitoring and Evaluation Adjustment (DMEA) Technology for Batch 3 shall be conducted on November 22- 24, 2016 at a venue to be announced later within Legazpi City to the Schools Divisions of Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Sorsogon City, Masbate and Masbate City. 3. The activity will focus on the Monitoring and Evaluation Adjustment (MEA) Technology as a strategy for the DepEd Offices to establish their respective M&E system framework. The training schedule is found in the enclosure. 4. Participants are required to bring the following data and information requirements: * Enrolment (last 5 years) including] Intake Rate (Kindergarten) NER & GER * Cohort Survival Rate (last 5 years) [~ Transition Rate (Elementary to Secondary) Completion Rate (last 5 years) ___|* Repeaters per school NAT results per school (overall,|* List and profile of programs and projects _learning area) implemented «Least mastered competencies * Division Education Development Plan ‘= School Leavers and dropout (DEDP) 6. This is a Live-out activity. Participants are advised to report on time as reflected in the training schedule. Expenses relative to the conduct of this activity such as training materials, venue, transportation of RO personnel and meals of the participants are charged to Regional Office Funds. Accommodation and transportation expenses of the BEST Staff facilitators are charged to BEST Funds. Likewise, accommodation and transportation expenses of the SDO participants shall be charged to their respective local funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. 7.
