WINDSOR HIGH SCHOOL February 23, 2017 ‘To Whom It May Concern: | am pleased to write this letter on behalf of Madeleine Larson. Madeleine was in my global studies class in her freshman year and proved such academic strength and motivation that she was placed in my honors world history course for her sophomore year. She is an impressive young lady and | have appreciated her commitment to learning and professionalism, both inside and out of the classroom, She has displayed a level of maturity and integrity not commonly seen among her peers. Madeleine is an excellent student. She never hesitated to put the time and effort into her assignments that it took to “get the job done.” Madeleine is focused, trustworthy, and proficient. | believe that she will succeed at anything she puts her mind to, as she is highly motivated and has ‘common sense beyond her years. Beyond academics, she has spent time working in a special ‘education classroom at a local elementary school volunteering at two different playhouses in Santa Rosa, on top of working part time at Trader Joes since 2016. She has many responsibilities and manages them beautifuly. have benefited from having Madeleine work as my teacher's aide during her senior year. While | have many aides, the capable ones are few and far between. I have been able to give Madeleine any task and she can complete it at a professional level, without much explanation or assistance. Overall, she is just pleasant to work wilh In the future, Madeleine plans on pursuing @ career in education so that she may work with young people and share her passion for history wth them. This will be an excellent placement for her, as she possesses all the necessary traits, particularly her high standards for responsibilty and achievement, good judgment, and care and concern for others.
