Layers of the Atmosphere

Troposphere: The Troposphere starts at the Earth’s surface and goes up to a height of

7 – 20 m above sea level. Most of the mass (about 75-85%) of the atmosphere. Where almost
all weather occurs.

Tropopause: The boundary between the Toroposphere and Stratosphere

Stratosphere: Layer of the Earth’s atmosphere between 8km and 50 km above sea level.
