I’m writing in reference to Ms. Chelsea Harper Ms. Harper has been a student of mine in the
Elementary Education program. She is a well-prepared and dedicated teacher. I am excited to see the
impact she will have on her future students.

Throughout the work that Ms. Harper completed for the courses I teach, she was asked to apply
important educational concepts and understandings to deliver developmentally appropriate best
practices and classroom assessments. She critically applies her understandings in a thoughtful manner.
Ms. Harper thinks carefully about the many factors and perspectives involved in a situation before
responding. She is also able to contribute to the work of a group or team and add her own point of view
while honoring that of others.

Ms. Harper’s experience inside the classroom speaks to her dedication as an educator. Through her
work in the Elementary Education program she has had extensive experience planning and delivering
instruction for students. Ms. Harper is a strong professional who has a genuine concern for students and
aims to help them be successful. She is aware and respectful of the needs of each individual and works
to build positive relationships with students.
