A. Preliminaries
Class monitor, are there any absentees? Ma’am we’re glad to say that there are no

B. Pre-Learning Activities
i. Motivation
Class, before we start with our new lesson, I (Students will watch the video.)
will have you watch a short video.
(teacher will play a short video) Mam there were Japanese in the video,
some information about their culture,
Class, what can you say about the video? literature and some beautiful places in
Japan.

For this Activity, you will be grouped by 6.
Each group must have a representative.

D. Generalization:
Now that you understand the Japanese Mam I learned that Japanese literature is
Literature, what can you say or about lesson? one of the most important literatures in the
world and that Japanese have built their
buildings and gardens that are big part of
their culture.
What about Haiku? What did you understand Mam it is the shortest form of Japanese
about Haiku? poetry with only 17 syllables, in 3 lines of 5
– 7- 5 arrangement. Mostly, haikus deal
with the appreciation of nature.
