Its me Carl and hello diary.

Day 0 Departure Feb 4. Very excited and sad, Going to another island far from your home is very sad,
but excited because I will witness what kind of life there is in the City. 11 o’clock , we departed from
school, going to ilo ilo port. During that Bus riding to port was very relaxing, my classmates wasn’t
sleeping and they are all loud because of the excitement. After we arrive at the port we took
COKALIONG boat craft to Cebu port.

Day 1 Arrival Feb 5. What a view. Big buildings, lots of cars, and lots of shopping malls. The craft
docked at around 7 in the morning in Mandaue, Cebu city. We changed clothes in the theme of blue shirts,
met our guide for the day, Sir Frans to welcome us officially in Cebu, had our breakfast at Sugbahan Grill
in Cebu, and continue on to our first destination, Cebu City Hall.
Cebu City Geographical Information System (NMS/GIS), Sir Ken had the introductions about the
organization, it's network map, software and hardware specifications, and also took us inside to have a
peep on their department and their working stations.
We went to take some pictures in front of the city hall which is across the famous landmark, Magellan's
cross, and Basilica del Santo Niño.
We had our lunch at SM Seaside and spent few minutes to take some pictures and bought some goodies,
and continue on to the next destination, Cebu Institute of Technology-University.
The last hour of the day before the tour ends was decided to be at Taboan public market for their
famous dried fish, dried squid, dried mango and chorizo de Cebu, the local delicacies.

Day 2 BPO feb 6. Stunnning companies, but not really.


Buffet breakfast at Sugbahan Grill and continue on to our first destination of the day, The Company.
We were greeted by a member of the community, Joy Garingo, and had a brief introduction about the
organization, introduced us to their in-house programmers and gave us some few tips and advices on to
the "New World" technology industry, how was it like to work under such environment and community,
their history and experiences, and their advice for us in facing such road.
Convergys Cebu, we were unable to took some picture with us due to ground rules but we have taken
with us the opportunity to engage in a professional corporate environment, with us, we were given the
chance to be interviewed directly to qualify for a position in their office.
Teleperformance is another BPO company and unfortunately, taking pictures is also prohibited inside the
establishment, again, we were given the chance to have the same opportunity to work under their office.
The Grid & Thrive was a place for our late lunch and dinner. We had a "Boodle Fight" dinner, and had a
mini tour around the place. The Grid is also a co-working space for both graphic and culinary artists.

Day 3 Breakfast feb 7. Eating Eating.

Day 4 Last Day feb 8. Goodbye and Goodbye.

February 8, 2018. Breakfast in bed, Jollibee! Seminar workshop with the invited speakers, Genesis Raña
and Elohim Tampus. Their experiences was inspiring, their visions are eye opening. We enjoyed their
presence and grateful for the opportunity meeting them. Lunch buffet after the seminar and rushed to
our rooms for preparation of departure. Last few hours of Cebu, we head back to City hall where the
souvenir shops are located and went straight back to the hotel for our check out, after a few moments of
confirmations, we jump back to our buses for the last time for Mandaue port. Dinner at port, Jollibee! Bye
for now, Cebu!
