Subject: Response to Malfunctioning Boots and Gloves Claim

Dear Mr. Funston,

We at Frostbite No More Incorporated (FNMI) are sincerely sorry to hear about the
inconvenience you experienced. Customer satisfaction is our highest priority. We immediately
launched an internal investigation and found the root cause of the issue. Please let me assure you
that this issue has been resolved and additional testing has been set in place to ensure our strict
quality standards are fully achieved.

We have also temporarily stopped production on our heated boots and glove line as well as
issued a recall on product shipped to customers. As soon as the redesigned boots and gloves
become available, we will rush you a replacement. We are confident it will renew your trust in
our products and provide warmth, water-resistance, and comfort.

In addition, we will be sending a fifty-dollar gift card in recognition of your request for
purchasing credit. Together with the replacement of the boots and gloves, we anticipate that this
will exceed your expectations. It is the desire of FNMI to go above and beyond in everything we
do.
