On that day, I was reading a new story for students about “The very hungry caterpillar”. I noticed

the very hungry caterpillar story is very useful for children because they will know about how the

caterpillar grown to became a beautiful butterfly. After that, before I read the story I asked them to jump 5

times and we did head shoulders song to motivate them before we start the lesson. Then, I was reading

story. Firstly, I asked them about the cover page. For example, what is the color for the cover page and

what is the color of caterpillar head? Then, I started to read. Also, I showed them 1 apple and I asked

them about the color. In addition, I asked them to write number 3 on the floor and showed me the

butterfly with their hands.

After that, we moved to the area. For example, science area, I distributed for the students

“Flashcard”. These flash cards contain the life cycle of caterpillar. They must be arranging the life cycle

of caterpillar. But about the math area, I distributed for students the flashcards of number from 1 to 5 and
the plastic fruits. They must to count how many apple the caterpillar ate. Then, they put one apple under

number one then count with their fingers and about the literacy; I gave them 3 pictures, apple, sausage

and pear and asked them to tell the sound of these words. After we finished, we came back to circle, I

turned the story in the screen and I reviewed with them.
