1. Determine the Bus with the highest and lowest voltage.
2. Sort the load bus in descending order according to bus loading.
3. Determine the branch with the highest branch flow.
4. Determine the branch with the lowest branch flow.
5. What is the schedule of the swing bus.
Case 2: Swing Bus Concept
1. Replace the Active power on “PQ.con” of Bus 14 from 0.2086 to 1.2086 and run power
flow again.
2. What is the new schedule of the swing generator?
3. Is the change in the swing schedule corresponds to the increase in load in Bus 14?
Analyse and explain further.
4. Replace the Swing Bus from Bus 1 to Bus 2 and Replace Bus 2 from PV.con to Bus 1.
Rerun power flow and explain the differences.
Case 3: Line Outage
1. From the original file remove line from Bus 2 to Bus 5. Rerun power flow and analyse
the differences from the original report.
