ABSTRACT

National Health Care Security (BPJS) is a community health program which is strived by
the government to improve the system of national health security. This new health security
program raises a new issue about the correlation between the quality of nursing care and the level
of National Health Care Security (BPJS) patients’ satisfaction. Moreover, the diversion of health
security into National Health Care Security (BPJS) emerges pro and contra related to health
service, for example a patient with chronic disease was given medication for less than 30 days
(3-7 days) so that she/he had to go to hospital several time and she/he was charged for the
hospital service.
The type of this research was descriptive quantitative with analytical survey approach,
that is a survey or research which digs how the phenomenon of that health care happens. The
samples were 99 respondents taken by using cluster random sampling. The data was analyzed by
using Spearman Rank test.
The result of the study showed that most of the quality of the nursing care was good (94,
9%). Most of the National Health Care Security (BPJS) patients’ satisfaction was in category of
satisfied (94, 9%). It can be concluded that there is correlation between the quality of nursing
service and the level of National Health Care Security (BPJS) patients’ satisfaction with sig.
