PRIMARY RESEARCH PLAN

Primary Research Plan

I will begin my research by sending out two surveys. One will be on

editing and the other on Narrative. The music video’s I will be
asking my target audience to watch are:

- Friends - Marshmallo & Anne-Marie

- Sick Boy – The Chainsmokers
- Wait – Maroon 5
- My, My, My – Troye Sivan
- I Like Me Better – Lauv

Along with this, I will be going out into town, finding people in my
target audience (11-18 year olds), and asking them questions about
music videos and what they like to watch in a music video. I find
asking people at random more effective than asking people you
know because then there is no chance of the responses being
rehearsed and I find that not knowing someone means that the
interview will be more serious and they will want to concentrate
more on what to say.

After I finish with getting the responses to all of my survey’s I will

create Infographics that will display a summary of my findings and
my own personal analysis.
