Knowledge: The witches grant Macbeth three visions regarding his own future. 
When he visits the witches again, he demands that they answer his questions. The 
apparitions reveal vague and confusing prophecies that induce both 
over-confidence and fear in Macbeth. It is obvious that the witches are purposely
