These plans were what I roughly based my ‘junk’ engine on.
They were in an old book, dating from the 1950s.
I can’t give you any measurements, because your engine will be made from different junk :)
Study this drawing carefully,
It shows how the valve system works to deliver air to the main cylinder, at the right moment in time. Make the Valve rod in two parts (Allows you to adjust the ‘timing’ on your engine The cranks are at 90 degrees to each other
Hinged, to allow piston rod to move.
This is just another Piston really. The valve opens , letting air into the main cylinder.
