Project Product Engineer Il is expected to execute engineering tasks with supervision from lead engineer. Relationship - No direct or indirect reports - Internal customers: Lead Engineer, Group Leader, and Engineering Manager - Internal suppliers: Regional engineering teams, shared engineering services (.e. materials engineering, manufacturing engineering, etc.) - External customers: no direct extermal customers - Extemal suppliers: no direct external suppliers Role - No direct responsibility for budget or revenue. - Responsible for maintaining daily work with supervision. - Responsible for following established execution processes. - Responsible for making recommendations on how to improve throughput as observed. - Errors are typically detected at engineering review and approval phase. These errors can lead to PONC and delay development schedules. Tasks Technical - Execute technical calculations and other product development work. - Develop conceptual designs for SDS equipment. - Perform engineering review of new designs. - Willingness to leam and expand upon design and technical skill. - Perform testing in Engineering Test Lab Accountability - Responsible for indivudal project execution tasks. - Responsible for alerting management to issues as they arise. - Responsible for executing all job related tasks as directed by management Requirements - Bachelor's degree required - Experience in field - Detailed understanding of mechanical systems - High mechanical aptitude - Understanding of FMC’s engineering execution process - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Must have good computer skills - Exhibits FMC’s core values Branch Houston, Texas City Houston
