Details of Program:

The foundation year of the UBC Engineering program is designed to prepare all first-
year engineering students with the strong knowledge base from which to build a solid
and rewarding academic and professional career. In this year, all students are taught
the fundamentals in order to move forward into one of thirteen of the specialized
engineering programs UBC has to offer.

Possible Scholarships:

Fortunately UBC offers multiple scholarships to support first year students. One of the
scholarships I could apply for are the basic UBC bursary, which offers up to $1,820 for
first year students with a full course load. UBC also offers Engineering specific
scholarships, one of these is offered to students entering directly into the program from
high school and is worth up to $5, 000. Most of these scholarships are based of of
student transcripts.
