Directions: Using the template below, describe how you would use the interactive whiteboard in your
future classroom. Consider if your ideas is teacher centered or student centered. The learning activities

Description of how to implement in the class: Students will be given their notes on the properties
of exponents on the interactive whiteboard. Throughout the lesson students will be given problems
to work on individually. The teacher will ask for volunteers to show their work and explain what they
did on the interactive whiteboard.
Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): LoTi level 3 best describes this learning experience.
Students will be interacting with technology to analyze and apply their knowledge of exponents to
solve and combine problems.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity. My goal is for students to learn and practice
describing their work. Students will be asked to go to the interactive whiteboard thought the lesson and
show and explain to the rest of the class what they did to get to the correct answer.
Importance of technology: Although the teacher could use a white board to teach this lesson, they would
have to write their notes on the board throughout the lesson rather than having them done on the board.
Also, anytime you can give students a chance to interact with technology they are gaining knowledge that
will help them in life.
Reflection: I gained another skill for integrating technology into my teaching. Although I have use
interactive whiteboards, I learned how to design presentations for them.
