Required equipment/ setup

● To keep the sea star happy you should have a tank that
has a minimum capacity of 100 gallons.
● They enjoy having rocks, coral and sandy floors in their
tanks.
● Have a good pump to keep the water clean.
What food does it need?

● Sea stars are carnivores so they mostly eat worms and


mollusks (clams, mussels, and oysters.
Special requirements.

● The salinity of your tank water should be between 1.022


and 1.025. And the temperature should be 72 and 76
degrees fahrenheit.
● Avoid medication in the tank that is copper based, as it is
poisonous to sea stars.
● Change 15% of your tank water every week.
● Put your sea star in a bag for approximately 15 minutes
and set it in the tank so it can get used to the pressure.
