Introduction

In this portfolio, I revised Writing Projects 1 and 2 based off Masha’s comments as well

as better writing techniques I have learned over the quarter. I broke up large paragraphs that

contained multiple ideas into smaller ones to increase consistency and flow of the essays. In

Writing Project 1, I used some passive voice which I changed to active voice; this change made

it easier to read the essay, especially in the more complex parts of the essay. In Writing Project 2,

I had paragraphs that contained multiple ideas, so I split them up into multiple paragraphs. Now,

the essay is more organized and has a better progression through the ideas presented. While

going through the revision, I found problems that reoccur in my writing. Now that I have noticed

them, I will be able to adjust my writing to avoid making those mistakes in the future.
