- I teach KG 2 today a literacy – reading “ten little monkeys” story for them, it is literacy but at the
same time reviewing math which is counting. I started the lesson with singing twinkle twinkle
song with them. The I read the story with making some actions for the words.

Where did the lesson take place?
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson?
What did the students do?

- The lesson was for kindergarten 2 section 4, I taught the lesson in the circle time and in the
activities “corners” area. My goal for this lesson was to let the students reviewing how to count
from 1 to 10. The students were reading with me the story because it is the same of the song “five
little monkeys” so they were knowing it and try to say with me. they like the mask activity and
they wear it on their faces when they finish from it.

- The students were reading with me the story because it is the same of the song “five little
monkeys” so they were knowing it and try to say with me. I engage the students in the lesson with
letting them read the story with me.

- The students like the story because they like the song of it, they were trying to act like the
monkeys in the story. The lesson meets my goal because they were counting the numbers from 1
to 10.

- In the future I might make some more activities for this story, I can bring masks for the students
and let them wear it while I am reading the story so they will be engage more with the lesson.
