Background On 14 November 2005, the Council adopted Joint Action 2005/797/CESP on the European Union Police Mission for the Palestinian Tervtores (EUPOL COPPS). Seleced personnel should be ready for deployment to Palestine within the deadlines specified in each job description, 8) Subject to the adoption of another Council Decision extending the Mission mandate and approving the appropriate Budgetary Impact Statement, the initial duration of the ‘deployment should be of 12 months. - General Information 8) For stconded positions, only personnel nominations received throxgh official channels fiom EU Member States will be considered. EU Member States will bear all Personnel-telated costs for seconded personne, including salaries, medical coverage, travel expenses to and from the Mission area (including home leave) and allowances ‘other than those paid according tothe Council documents 7291/8 (10 March 2008) and 9984/13 (30 April 2013), 1b).
