Shilpalaya is an attempt to preserve and
encourage a community tradition of thinking
through hands in a country of villages. It voices
the chronicles of the craftsman, craftsmanship
and his craft. Shilpalaya stands witess to the
stories of the human hand, carved in the
artefacts of 16 craft communities of Uttar
Pradesh. Intricate Karigari  here is knowledge
and art transferred from a father to his son,
generations after generations
