She is Shakira, her full name’s Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, she was born 2
February 1977 in Barranquilla, Colombia.
She is 40 years old. She’s a singer, songwriter, dancer, and record producer.
Her father is Lebanese and her mother is Colombian. She always honors her
Latino and Arabic heritage with her music. She wrote her first song when he was
8 years old and signed her first record deal at 13 years old.
As a child her voice was very powerful and some criticised it for being ‘too
powerful’ But, Shakira caught the eye of music producers and she started
recording her own albums.
In 1995, she released “Pies Descalzos”, which gained her much popularity in
Latin America and Spain
By the early 2000s, she was start into the market for English music. She learnt
English, wrote and recorded her own songs, producing albums in both Spanish
and English.
She has set numerous songs for her albums and has become easily the best
selling Colombian artist of all time.
Shakira had two boyfriends, the first one was Antonio de la Rúa, He is a
businessman and lawyer. Actually her boyfriend is Gerard Piqué, he's a
Barcelona's football player. She has two children with Gerard. The children's
names are Milán and Sasha. Milán was born in 2013 and Shasha was born in
2015.
She usually wake up at 8am and make the breakfast for her family. Then she
goes to the gym when her children are in the garden.
At the afternoon, her family have lunch together at home, someday they have
lunch outside.
Usually after lunch, she plays with her children in her house, then she shower her
children.
At 9pm she takes her children to the bed to sleep, after that someday she see a
movie with Gerard at bed, then they go to sleep.

Su padre es libanés y su madre es colombiana. Ella siempre honra su herencia latina y
árabe con su música. Ella escribió su primera canción cuando tenía 8 años y firmó su
primer contrato discográfico a los 13 años.
Cuando era niña su voz era muy poderosa y algunos la criticaron por ser "demasiado
poderosa". Pero, Shakira llamó la atención de los productores de música y comenzó a
grabar sus propios álbumes.

Shakira tuvo dos novios, el primero fue Antonio de la Rúa, es un hombre de negocios y
abogado. Actualmente, su novio es Gerard Piqué, es un jugador de fútbol de Barcelona.
Tiene dos hijos con Gerard. Los nombres de los niños son Milán y Sasha. Milán nació
en 2013 y Shasha nació en 2015.
Por lo general, se despierta a las 8 a.m. y prepara el desayuno para su familia. Luego
ella va al gimnasio cuando sus hijos están en el jardin.
