Library is one of the infrastructure of ESSU Guiuan University that

accommodates approximately 3000 students and other staff of the school. It

maintains all services: (1) Reference Service, (2) Library Orientation to New

Students, (3)Referral letter Request, (4) Free WIFI (5) Signing of Clearance, (6)

Photocopy, (7) Request an Individual/Group Literacy Session, (8) Current

Awareness Service, (9) Issuance of Library IDs and (10) Library Space Reservation.

However, to be able for the students to use this offers, service number nine (9) will

take in charge in creating Library Card ID that serves as their access card.

The said service is done manually by encoder. It takes a lot of effort, cost, and

time to come up with an ID. Also, Typewriter Machine is used to create the Actual ID

that leads to one of the major problems of this service because of mal-functionality

and causes for the operation to be postpone.

Therefore, from such matter both the Library Management and the Students

has a huge responsibility in generating Library ID. To solve this problem, researchers

from the College of Engineering and Technology are sharing the unique skills they

have through enhancing the current service to more advance and become innovative

one.
 The propose project entitled “Automated Library ID Template System”, it is

a library ID system which mainly focuses on basic operations in monitoring like

adding records of students who already received ID and to add more, renewing ID by

updating existing data, and other transaction in generating ID template in a library.

The system is easy to use for both beginners and advanced users. It features a

familiar and well thought-out, an attractive user interface and reporting capabilities.

The report generation facility of Library ID System helps to get a good idea of a quick

and easy way to print ID templates.
