To Whom It May Concern:
I’m writing in reference to Ms. Katlin Moran, Ms. Moran has been a student of mine in the Elementary
Education program. She is an exceptionally well-prepared and dedicated teacher. I have been very
fortunate to have Ms, Moran as a student and am excited to see the impact she will have on her future
students.
‘Throughout the work that Ms. Moran completed for the courses I teach, she was asked to apply
important educational concepts and understandings to deliver developmentally appropriate best
practices and classroom assessments. She exhibits an excellent work ethic and critically applies her
understandings in a thoughtful manner. Ms. Moran thinks carefully about the many factors and
perspectives involved in a situation before responding. She is able to make connections and dive deep
with her understandings in a way that many of her peers do not yet grasp.
Ms. Moran is a strong team member who works collaboratively and navigates interpersonal
relationships expertly. She is task oriented in individual settings and collaborative situations and able to
keep her group or team focused on reaching the desired outcome or finding a feasible solution in a
calm and confident manner.
Her experience inside and outside the classroom speaks to her dedication as an educator. Through her
work in the Elementary Education program she has had extensive experience planning and delivering
instruction for students. Ms, Moran is an active member of Kappa Delta Pi, our international
educational honor society, and is the president of our student KNEA group. She works at The Family
Resource Center and has experience with children is private care settings. Additionally, she serves our
‘community as a volunteer for the Lord's Diner.
Her insight and ability to go above and beyond shine through her everyday coursework here at
Pittsburg State. Ms. Moran is a strong professional wiho has a genuine concern for students and aims to
help them be successfull. She is aware and respectful of the needs of each individual and works to build
positive relationships with students. I feel that any building that is lucky enough to have her will also
be positively impacted.
Please call or e-mail if I can provide more information or be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
