The key parameters of PV module:-

 Ist (A) is the short circuit current – this is the current output from the PV cell when the
resistance is zero (short circuit)
 Voc (V) is the open circuit voltage – this is the voltage output from the PV cell when
the resistance is infinity (open circuit)
 Imp (A) is the current at maximum power – this is the current output from the PV cell
at the maximum power point.
 Vmp (V) is the voltage at maximum power – this is the voltage output from the PV cell
at the maximum power point
 Pmp (W) is the maximum power – this is the maximum power from the PV cell

Voc = 44 V Vmp = 34 A
