To Whom It May Concern,

It’s my absolute pleasure to recommend Kelsey Sabourin for a teaching position in your
district. She has served our school well for three years. As her coworker, I can vouch for
her sincerity to her work with the students at Ballard School and bring out the best in
each one. Miss Sabourin continually focuses on individual student needs in an effort to
create a supportive, caring environment. She provides diverse educational opportunities
to accommodate learners with different learning styles. Her intense work with our data
team to incorporate Marzano strategies has been instrumental in her success at both
the fourth and second grade levels.

Miss Sabourin and I worked together in a fourth grade level data team PLC for two
years. She was an excellent communicator during those meetings. Always looking to
improve not only her own teaching strategies, but those of her more veteran coworkers,
Miss Sabourin collaborated with our PLC to bring the latest technological advances to
the forefront of our strategic planning. She is well versed on the latest and greatest
ways to motivate students using current pedagogies.

In the role of a colleague, Miss Sabourin has always proved herself a kind and helpful
person. Going the extra mile for her peers and students is second nature, as proved by
her willingness to work with students at recess and after school. She has also
volunteered as a coach for Girls on the Run to encourage positive self-image in
elementary aged girls. Miss Sabourin is currently an active member of our PBIS
initiative for continuous improvement in behavior at Ballard School. She communicates
positively with staff and students to build community not only in her classroom, but the
whole school.

Without hesitation, I strongly recommend Kelsey Sabourin for a teaching position as I

believe she can contribute highly in every aspect of teaching. She appreciates
constructive feedback in any situation, and sets high expectations for herself and her
students.

If there is anything more than you need to know about Miss Sabourin, please feel free to
call me.

Sincerely,

Pamela Anton
