Garcia Avenue, U.P, Campus Diliman, Quezon City OFFICE ORDER wwwleb.gov.ph « +63(2)9286921 No. 2018-00-376 March 14, 2018 For —_: All Prospective PhiLSAT Exemption Applicants, LEB Staff and Other Interested Persons From : The LEB Chairman Subject : GUIDELINES FOR APPLICATION FOR EXEMPTION FROM THE PHILIPPINE LAW SCHOOL ADMISSION TEST Effective March 16, 2018, the Legal Education Board will resume accepting and processing of applications for exemption from the Philippine Law School Admission Test (PhiLSAT) pursuant to Section 10 of LEB Memorandum Order No. 7,.2016. Applications shall be processed in accordance with the following guidelines: 1. Qualified Applicants - To qualify for exemption from PhiLSAT, the applicant must satisfy all the following conditions: a. Honor graduate of a bachelor's degree; b. Awarded with honor graduate eligibility by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 907; c Enrolling in a law program leading to the basic law degree of a law school within two (2) academic years from date of graduation. 2, Documentary requirements - An Applicant shall submit the following documents a Two (2) original copies of fully accomplished and duly notarized PhiLSAT Application Form (PAF); b. One (1) original copy of the Certification issued by the Registrar of the University/College where he/she graduated with a bachelor’s degree. The certification should indicate the bachelor’s degree earned, graduation date, graduation honor received, special order (if applicable), and the granting institution; and © One (1) certified copy of the Honor Graduate Eligibility (HGE) Certificate issued by the CSC, or CSC Certification of HGE grant with eligibility number and date of issuance, 3. Process - The application process to be followed by applicants for PhiLSAT exemption shall be as follows: Step 1: Submit to the LEB Receiving Section all the documentary requirements and wait to be issued the Payment Referral Slip (PRS) Filing_by_mail/courier: Applicants may also submit the documentary requirements by mail or courier. If you want the application result mailed to your address, enclose with the application a self-addressed stamped envelope or prepaid pouch to be used to transmit the result of the application. No application by email will be entertained, and the LEB will deny applications with missing entries in the PAF or incomplete documentary requirements. Step 2: Present the PRS to the CHED Cashier and pay the P300 application fee. Filing by mail/courier: Enclose with application sent by mail/courier the payment for the P300 application fee usin; 1) Formail _- Postal Money Order payable to the Legal Education Board; or 2) Forcourier _- Money remittance service of the courier with the payment addressed to Rovick Relleve. Applications with unpaid application fees will be denied or not processed. Step 3: Return to the LEB Receiving Section and present the PRS and the Official Step 4: Receipt (OR). ‘The PRS will be returned by the LEB Receiving Section to the applicant after the Application Number, OR Number, payment date, and the result date are written thereon. On the indicated result date, claim the result of your exemption application from the LEB Receiving Section.
