Ref : My Appointment as Assistant Professor in Govt. First Grade Degree College

With reference to the above, I bring to your kind notice that I am undergoing my Ph.D.
programme on Full Time basis (with research fellowship from UGC) under the guidance of Dr.
M. Ramachandra Gowda, Professor, Department of Commerce, Bangalore University Bangalore
since 17.02.2013. Now I have been appointed as Assistant Professor in Govt. First Grade
Degree College at _______ by Government of Karnataka and I am expected to report to duty on
______. So, I request your goodself to convert my Ph.D programme from Full time to part-time
and enable me take up my new responsibility as an Assistant Professor in commerce. Further I
am aware that henceforth I will not eligible for any fellowship from University Grants
Commission (UGC).
